Waterflame responds:

lol thanks man XD

dang!!!

First time, and you nailed it. i noticed that you couldnt handle sticking to the four-on-the-floor the whole time and had to stick in some other break-steps^^

great melodies, awesome beat
overall = ownage!

ppbbthh!

i dont see why everyone loves this, it actually isnt that great... although it has decent synths, the beat needs work...

needless to say, i'm not a halo fan

no way!

Waterflame responds:

this is great!

I agree with NoodleBowl. the only flaw is that the drums were very repetitive for most of the song. Also i think the intro was a bit long.

awesome job. voted 5, downloaded IMMEDIATELY

heyy

do you remember the 4 measure rule???

ZangoBlaze responds:

Yes I'm working on that.

aauughh!

aahh dude! this is just a bunch of random notes! i dont like it. ok. here comes a lot of advice. better duck.

first of all, do you know the even number rule? i doubt it, cuz your clap and the other percs didnt come in at the right time. whenever you want to like change something or add more instruments, you do so after 4 or 8 measures. see there. no odd numbers.

second of all, you need to change your beats. btw, what program do you use?
heres a standard simple (good-sounding) beat:

kick * - - - - - * - - - * - - - - -
snare - - - - * - - - - - - - * - - -
hat * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * -

melodies are a bit more complicated. to make lead melodies, just start off with a 4 or 8 or 12 measure long tune. then play the same tune again but change a few of the notes. and make sure it sounds ok. do that for a few measures, then switch to a different melody, using the same method. you also need to put 1 to 3 sub melodies in there. they should be short and simple. no need to get carried away. all the notes need to compliment each other, so it might not work out at first.

feel free to PM me about anything music related =)
check out some of my songs too^^

wow!

i wish i was that good. Very nice melodic work! The drums fit perfectly too. Immediately downloaded, and voted 5.

You rock!

YES!!!!

although the opening intro was a bit lacking (0:00 - 0:43), this is easily the best song ever!!! thanks for finding the time to make another awesome song!
